The dialog comes from SwiftWire, a start-up technology company. A “start up” is a new company. Michael is the founder of SwiftWire; “Founder” means he’s the one who started the company. He’s talking to two colleagues, Ryan, the chief technology officer, and Rachel, the marketing director. They are discussing the recent launch of a new product line.
